Licensed Practical Nurse
Location: Springfield, VT 05156 Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Evening/Day/Night Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs nursing care and assists with planning and implementing care for the comfort and well-being of the patient. The LPN scope of practice is dependent and directed, requiring assignment or delegation by a registered nurse or physician. The LPN provides care to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. Key Responsibilities: Performs nursing care and assists with planning and implementing care for the comfort and well-being of the patient. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitors and records patient vital signs and reports any changes to the registered nurse or physician. Provides emotional support to patients and families. Assists with patient education and discharge planning. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. Current LPN license in the state of Vermont. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. One year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
