Administrative Specialist I (416) (Project Management)
Kings View, a nonprofit leader in behavioral health services for underserved communities, is seeking a dedicated Administrative Specialist I to support the CARE Court Program in Visalia, CA.
The CARE program provides mental health and substance use disorder services to severely impaired individuals lacking access to treatment. The Administrative Specialist I plays a vital role in daily operations, working closely with the Clinical Program Manager and team.
Responsibilities
Manage data entry, reporting, and documentation ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Maintain and coordinate the scheduling calendar, appointments, and transportation for consumers. Handle packages, mail, emails, deliveries, calls, and messages; greet visitors and direct inquiries appropriately. Restock office supplies and maintain staffing communication boards. Assist with transportation planning and provide transportation when needed. Support social media and public communications, including newsletters and calendars. Perform data entry into the Electronic Health Record system (SmartCare) and participate in team meetings. Perform other duties to support program success. Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; 1 year administrative experience, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health. Lived experience with mental health/substance use recovery or related circumstances. Class C Driving License. Knowledge of privacy protocols and records management. Effective communication skills; ability to work with diverse populations. Creative, flexible, patient, and non-judgmental attitude. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. College degree in a related field; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred. Benefits
