ProSidian is seeking a Senior Drug/Vaccine/Diagnostic/Clinical Development SME in the Healthcare and Life Sciences Industry Sector. This full-time position is based in the Mid Atlantic region, supporting the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA). The role involves providing expertise in the fields of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats, including the research, development, manufacture, and regulatory approval of medical countermeasures. Responsibilities include supporting BARDA Program Offices, serving on Technical Evaluation Panels, participating in Program Coordination Teams, and providing expert assessments and recommendations. The candidate should have experience in medicinal chemistry, preclinical and clinical development, analytical product testing, quality control, regulatory policy, and manufacturing. Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively are essential. Desired qualifications include at least 10 years of biologics development and/or manufacturing experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline preferred. The candidate must have hands-on experience with CMC biologics product development, expertise in drug formulation and manufacturing, and knowledge of regulatory affairs.
