This is a primarily remote position, however the candidate must reside in the DC/MD/VA area and be able to go into the Mark Center, Alexandria, VA during the week for meetings and some work on an ad-hoc and sometimes immediate basis. Job Summary
The successful candidate for the Joint Mission Environment Testing Capability (JMETC) Cross Domain Solutions Architect position will be part of the KBR Cybersecurity team supporting the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) in the development of new test and evaluation capabilities and specifically providing TRMC Cybersecurity expertise. This position will be a part of a distributed cybersecurity team. This member will provide solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of senior expertise and creativity. This member will be an experienced and skilled professional in designing and implementing cross-domain solutions (CDS) that enable secure and seamless communication between different domains, systems, and applications. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of cross-domain technologies, security protocols, and software development principles. They will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing and implementing solutions, and ensuring the security and integrity of data exchanged between domains. The ideal candidate has a diverse technical background in cybersecurity, network protection, software development and cross domain technology and must have strong experience of successfully collaborating within high-performing teams with multiple stakeholders. You will directly interface with DoD civilians and contractors to provide Cross Domain support to the JMETC Secret Network and other networks. You will lead efforts to maintain and develop Enterprise approved Cross Domain Solutions. Come join a team that is building the T&E range of the future! Key Responsibilities
Design and Implementation Requirements Analysis Security System Integration Testing and Validation Collaboration Documentation Troubleshooting Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree: A master's degree or higher in a related field is preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and implementing cross-domain solutions, with a focus on security and software development. Certifications: DOD Security Clearance and must meet DoD 8140 Requirements for a Security Architect position. Preferred certifications are CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, CISSP-ISSAP, and CISSP-ISSEP Clearance: A minimum of a Secret clearance is required and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Technical Skills
Experience with cross-domain technologies, including CDS, Guards, Diodes and others. Knowledge of security protocols, including TLS, SSL, and IPsec. Knowledge of the DISN Connection Process Guide - DoD Cross Domain Solution Approval Process Knowledge of Cybersecurity Process and Approval for Special Access Programs (SAPs) Soft Skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Nice to Have
Experience with Cloud: Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of Industry Standards: Familiarity with industry standards, including NIST, FIPS, and others. What We Offer
