High Voltage Test Technician - Power Systems:
Primary Responsibilities
Prepare test set up for testing the systems and sub systems of components used in Power Systems Experience working with high voltage equipment - AC Voltage - 480V, DC Voltage - 1000V and experience working with high current test equipment Ability to assemble mechanical components of the test setup using techniques like bolting, drilling, etc. Ability to wire together an electrical panel with components like power supplies, sensors, PCBs, etc. onto a Keysight DAQ (Data acquisition system) Ability to use basic test equipment like hi-pot tester, multimeter, etc. Experience working with fluid connections and has worked with hoses, crimps, etc. Document the test data onto the prepared template and review them with the responsible engineer Execute experimental plans and/or prepare samples for failure analysis Work collaboratively with a diverse and passionate engineering team Detail oriented, organized, and highly reliable approach to data collection and documentation Safety-conscious and ready to actively promote safe behavior and lab operations
HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training), AS degree in a Technical or STEM field
Preferred qualifications * What is a nice to have
Experience in analyzing DAQ data in Excel and providing test feedback to engineers Documenting data as per ISO 17025 standard for compliance testing
