About the Role
As a Cook in the evenings at The Reserve at Hamilton Trace, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dining experiences for our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and cook a variety of meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our community. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all food is prepared in a safe, sanitary, and efficient manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization, as well as adhering to all health and safety regulations. Ultimately, your contributions will enhance the overall satisfaction and well-being of our residents through delicious and nutritious meals.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Ensure that all food is presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperature. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during meal service. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment. Preferred Qualifications
Culinary degree or certification. Experience working in a senior living or healthcare food service setting.
