Software Engineer in Test
to join a team developing the full stack embedded architecture for new product development. How you will make an impact as a Software Engineer in Test:
Ensure the highest level of software performance, reliability, and quality Help evolve DEKA's software processes as the product grows Solve technical challenges while upholding high performance standards To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline 5+ years of combined automation testing and development experience, including development of embedded machine control applications using C++ in a Linux environment 2+ years of hands-on experience with Linux Real-time Patched Kernel Hands-on experience with orchestration, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and operation of manufacturing controls platforms and tools Experience in testing methodologies and a commitment to quality in continuous operations Exposure to and understanding of security standards and security design Proficient in writing detailed design specifications, diagrams, documentation, operating procedures, and test plans/test reports Excellent communication skills, capable of working with cross-functional technical and business teams and varying levels of management Strong distributed system networking and debugging skills Experience with Linux Sockets (ZMQ), MQTT, and REST API Experience with DevOps tools like Ansible, Artifactory, and GitLab Experience with security testing tools such as OpenScap and CVE Scan Preferred Qualifications:
Docker deployment and operational experience C++ development/deployment experience including CMake Python development/deployment experience Exposure to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), 21 CFR Part 11, and GAMP5 regulatory standards About DEKA:
