Full Stack AWS Developer
CGI has an immediate need for a Full Stack AWS Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies. This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable. We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years! Your Future Duties And Responsibilities
Application Developer performs high complexity (i.e. system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles. Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
8-10+ years of software development experience across the appropriate platform Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Work with a team of developers with deep experience in distributing microservices and full stack systems Perform software development on Front End Applications leveraging a test-driven development pattern Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community Proven experience in developing responsive Single Page Applications (SPA) using Angular (v18+ preferred). Ability to write reusable, modular, and maintainable code using Angular best practices Utilize programming languages like JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, TypeScript, RxJS, and Java, open-source frameworks, RESTful web services, and work on cross-browser and cross-device development Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field Professional certification(s) desired Solid IT background and experience.
