Accounts Payable Specialist

in our T iffin, OH

location. The primary role of an

Accounts Payable Specialist

is to handle the financial processing of transactions to ensure vendors are paid for services and products rendered.

Essential Functions:

Accounts Payable contact for approximately 235 vendors. Maintain Edit program, making sure invoice discrepancies are resolved in order to ensure timely payment of invoices. Monitor open accruals - request invoices and recognize potential problems with receiving invoices through EDI or emailing. Reconcile vendor statements. Respond to emails with vendors regarding past due invoices, payment status, short pays and all other requests. Communicate with internal contacts regarding issues with receiving, pricing, pay terms and other issues with invoices. Performs all other duties as assigned. What You will Need to be Successful:

High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 1-year experience in Accounts Payable or related field. Positive attitude with good organizational skills and attention to detail are required. Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet. Work cooperatively with a number of departments throughout all locations. Must have excellent communication skills, able to multi task and be forward thinking.
