Cloud DevOps Engineer
Mantech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD. In this role you will be working as a cloud Engineer utilizing cloud computing platforms and developing full stack web application interfacing with AWS services. The team delivers enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce performing a wide range of missions in defense of our Nation. Responsibilities included but are not limited to: Responsible for building new and improving existing CI/CD pipelines. Responsible for performing operations on end-user virtual machine provisioning/de-provisioning (VMWARE, and Amazon AWS platforms) supporting the automation of Active Directory security group manipulations. Will perform daily development using .Net framework with C#, Python, MSSQL and minor system administrative duties on Windows and Linux platforms. Responsible for creating collection object cleanup routine within an Angular/Node JS application to simulate a hierarchical cascade delete process for a dynamic MongoDB system. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university 12+ years of programming experience, including 1.5+ years with an object-oriented language. 5+ years functional experience with containerization technologies like Docker. 2+ years' experience working within the Linux desktop environment and bash shell Experience with Ansible, Python, Angular and Django IAT II certification (DoD 8140 required within 60 days of starting employment. Acceptable certifications include CCNA-Security/CySA+/GICSP/GSEC/Security+ CE/CND/ or SSCP) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with open-source technologies and tools to accomplish specific use cases encountered within the project such as GitLab, AWS Web Services, and Visual Studio .Net framework with C#, Python, MSSQL and minor system administrative duties on Windows and Linux platforms Kubernetes Application Developer or Administrator certification can be substituted for additional 2 years of experience Clearance Requirements: Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph. Physical Requirements: The candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer's desk. The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
