Information Assurance Engineer II
The Information Assurance Engineer II will perform functions as an Information System Security Manager and provide technical and programmatic IA support for network and information security systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and implement security requirements. Prepare documentation from information obtained using accepted guidelines (e.g., eMASS, POAM, RMF, etc.). Prepare Security Test and Evaluation plans and provide C&A support. Analyze policies and procedures against established laws and regulations and provide recommendations for closing gaps. Develop and complete system security and contingency plans. Develop, test, and integrate security tools. Conduct security program audits and develop solutions to lessen identified risks. Evaluate, develop, and enhance security requirements, policies, and tools. Perform vulnerability assessments including development of risk mitigation strategies. Mentor mid-level and junior staff Qualifications Required: Active TS/SCI Bachelor's Degree 5 - 8 years working or leading projects within a team structure DoD 8570 IAT Level II, preferred CASP Expertise with designing, developing, implementing, and enforcing security requirements. Developing security plans and contingency plans. Familiar with developing, testing, and integrating security tools as well as configuring and installing Skilled in conducting security audits and developing mitigations to identify risks. Has conducted vulnerability assessments. Knows eMASS Has monitored controls.
