Job Description:As a Sr. Business Analyst (BA), you will be responsible for identifying business needs, analyzing data, and defining solution requirements that align with institutional strategies. You will play a key role in driving technology transformations and implementations across the university, working closely with stakeholders to improve processes, enhance productivity, and ensure the successful delivery of IT projects. Key Responsibilities: Create comprehensive documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions, including business process models and reports Evaluate and improve current business processes to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness Participate in testing and validation of systems and processes to ensure they meet documented business needs Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making and strategy development Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies: Experience with business process modeling and general office productivity tools Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder communications Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex concepts clearly Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to generate actionable insights 10+ years of experience working in technology domains (experience in higher education preferred) 5+ years of experience eliciting and documenting business requirements and user stories in both Waterfall and Agile environments 5+ years of experience developing test plans and test cases Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision on deliverables Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field preferred Business Analyst certification (e.g., CBAP) is a plus The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr.
