Kitchen Assistant Job Description
Kitchen assistant helps chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting vegetables, fruits, and meats.
Will prepare sauces, stocks, and other ingredients according to recipes.
Will also assemble dishes and help with plating.
Will wash dishes, pots, and pans, both by hand and using dishwashers, ensuring proper sanitation.
Will assist with serving food and clearing tables during service.
Will be responsible for adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Will be responsible for removing garbage and disposing of waste according to regulations.
Will be responsible for sweeping and mopping the kitchen floors as well as wiping down kitchen walls.
Pay is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
