Manual QA Tester

We are seeking a Manual QA Tester for a long-term contract opportunity supporting a suite of web-based applications. This position is focused on manual testing and is ideal for someone who excels in requirement analysis, detailed validation, and functional/regression test execution. Youll be working closely with a cross-functional Agile team. What Youll Do: Analyze business and technical requirements to design and develop detailed manual test cases and test procedures Execute test plans for both new and existing applications Perform various testing types, including functional, regression, UI, volume, and integration testing Collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA leads to ensure thorough and effective test coverage Log and track defects with clarity and precision through resolution Participate in Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives Support production release cycles and provide QA sign-off Optionally assist in maintaining and reviewing existing automated test scripts What Were Looking For: Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience 57 years of experience in software QA with a primary focus on manual testing of web-based applications 5+ years of hands-on experience writing and executing test cases and test plans Experience with: Azure DevOps / TFS for test and defect tracking Postman for API testing SQL or Oracle for backend data validation Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC Strong organizational skills and excellent written/verbal communication Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium (C#) is a plus, but not required Work Setup: Hybrid :
