PDQ is hiring a Romania-based Solutions Engineer to support our endpoint management products, including: PDQ Connect cloud-based, agent-based device management PDQ Deploy & Inventory on-prem, agentless deployment and inventory tools And, depending on experience, need, and desire: SmartDeploy, SimpleMDM, and PDQ Detect You'll help other sysadmins (our customers) solve difficult technical issues across a wide range of environments. You'll work in English with a U.S.-based team. You will test new features, provide product feedback, reproduce bugs, and support real-world IT environments with all their quirks and inconsistencies. This is not L1 support. This is not customer success. You will be solving hard problems with other people like you: system administrators with real-world experience. Responsibilities
Respond to customer tickets (primarily email, sometimes remote conferencing) Investigate inventory anomalies, deployment failures, connectivity issues, credential problems, and environmental issues across customer networks Reproduce and escalate bugs to Engineering, with clear technical documentation Maintain and author technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and usage guides Capture and prioritize customer feedback and feature requests for Product and Strategy Collaborate with internal teams on product quality, testing, documentation, and process improvements Requirements
Must have Strong written and spoken English (B2+ equivalent); all work is conducted in English 3+ years system administration experience in Windows environments (SMB, enterprise, education, MSP, or government) Solid understanding of Windows, Active Directory, DNS, networking, credentials, Group Policy, and LAPS Hands-on experience with device management tools like PDQ Deploy, PDQ Connect, Intune, SCCM, Kaseya, or similar Demonstrated experience supporting software deployments and troubleshooting end-user environments Working understanding of security best practices in Windows environments Nice to have Experience with scripting in PowerShell (or Bash, Python) Exposure to vulnerability or remediation tools (Defender, Nessus, Tenable, etc.) Comfort with macOS or iOS Tools We Use

Compensation & Benefits: 10,000 11,200+ net RON/month, depending on experience Supplementary private health insurance Equity Company-provided laptop, monitor(s), peripherals, and all required remote setup hardware PDQ is committed to a great work/life balance (for real), which may include a condensed work week Schedule: First 23 months: 11:0020:00 EET (training overlaps with U.S. team) After onboarding: Normal Romanian business hours with occasional late meetings Interview Process Candidate interviews may be scheduled between 18:0022:00 EET (9AM-1PM Mountain Time).
