We are looking for a skilled and impact-driven Data Analyst to join Payseras Data Department, providing dedicated analytics support to our Engineering teams with a focus on employee engagement and performance management (EEPM), and HR analytics. You will work closely with EEPM and leadership teams to extract, analyse, and visualise complex datasets using SQL, Python, and AI tools, delivering actionable insights that optimise talent and improve efficiency. This role requires curiosity, a strategic mindset, and the ability to turn data into meaningful narratives to support and enhance decision-making across various engineering roles. Your key responsibilities:

Automate data retrieval and preparation for monthly performance and payment reports; Prepare comprehensive datasets for annual performance reporting; Generate datasets and supporting analyses for salary review justifications, primarily on an annual basis; Monitor and analyze data related to underperformers, providing actionable insights; Monitor and analyze data related to top performers, identifying opportunities for growth and retention; Replicate and customize data retrieval, analysis, and reporting processes for different engineering roles (FE, BE, QA, BA, etc.); Analyze people-related data based on company metrics to identify trends and develop insights that guide EEPM actions; Compile and present data-driven conclusions from processes such as Performance Reviews, Salary Reviews, Surveys, etc; Ensure data integrity through rigorous investigation and automation of people data processes; Collaborate closely with EEPMs, leaders, and management to deliver customized analytical solutions; Provide analytical expertise and support on EEPM projects requiring in-depth data insights; Create detailed, accurate ad-hoc reports responding promptly to urgent data requests; Actively utilize AI tools to optimize data workflows and analytical processes. What were looking for:

3-7+ years of relevant experience in data analytics or similar roles; Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing structured data; Experience in banking or fintech industry is mandatory; Solid understanding of descriptive statistics; Demonstrated ability to translate complex business questions into structured, insightful reporting; Basic AI-Tools knowledge and experience is mandatory; Strong visualization skills with proficiency in tools such as Redash or Grafana; Deep understanding of data accuracy, ensuring reliable and consistent analytics; Experience handling financial and operational datasets to support comprehensive business reporting; Highly organized, meticulous attention to data accuracy and integrity; Strong verbal and written English fluency, able to clearly present insights to non-technical stakeholders; Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Nice-to-Have:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related fields; Experience with HR analytics, particularly in technology-driven environments; Proficiency with Python for data analysis, visualization, and automation; Familiarity with ClickHouse or similar data analytics platforms; Expertise applying advanced statistical methods to solve real-world business challenges; Passion for fintech innovations and mission-driven initiatives.
