Senior Data Engineer - Python GCP

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (Flask/Django/FastAPI). Develop scalable and secure microservices for data processing, analytics, and APIs. Manage and optimize data storage with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Firestore/Bigtable). Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automate cloud deployments on GCP (App Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, GKE). Collaborate with front-end developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to integrate backend services with business logic and UI. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across backend systems. Implement best practices in code quality, testing (unit/integration), security, and scalability. Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field. Must have 3+ years of relevant IT experience Strong hands-on programming experience in Python. Experience with one or more Python frameworks: Flask, Django, or FastAPI. Deep understanding of RESTful API design and development. Proficient in working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Firestore, BigQuery). Solid understanding and experience with GCP services Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
