Military OneSource SharePoint Developer Journeyman

ASM Research provides services in support of the Military OneSource Program for military members and their families. This program provides a broad array of information, resources, referrals, and counseling to about 4.7 million persons or "participants," which includes military service members, their families, and eligible civilians at locations worldwide. Services are provided through a 24/7 contact center accessible via internet website, toll free telephone, secure real-time text/video chat, email, or postal mail and include non-medical counseling; financial counseling; tax assistance; spouse education and career information; adoption information; child care; Exceptional Family Member Programs (EFMPs); deployment support; disability information; elder care; educational services for adults, children, and youth; relocation services; pet care; health and wellness coaching; housing assistance; legal service referrals; single service member services; lodging; military benefits; relationship support; skill building services for parenting; spouse relocation and transition; peer-to-peer support; and support for everyday issues (e.g., locating a plumber or automobile mechanic). Job Responsibilities

Designs, creates, tests, and maintains content rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation content solutions. Evaluates site performance and ensures all web properties adhere to security and accessibility guidelines. Coordinates with content developers and graphics designers to ensure that needs are technically feasible, translating complex, detailed designs into executable software. Provides technical site maintenance and advice on complex issues related to animation, search engine techniques, link integrity, navigation, browsers, graphics, and other technical web developments. Delivers technical consultation in new systems development, new package evaluations, and enhancements of existing systems. Prepares functional specifications from which programs will be written and then designs, codes, debugs, and documents programs. Designs user interfaces of interactive web applications including ADA 508, and cross browser compliance. Ensures compliance with standards and conventions in developing programs. Provides guidance to less-experienced team members on adherence to policies and standards in the development field. Develops required specifications for very complex programs or problems. Tests, debugs, and refines the software to produce the required product. Provides advanced technical experience on development best practices. Oversees system tests, monitors test results and ensures corrective actions are completed. Leads the resolution of complex corrective actions. Creates coded unit tests and works with Testers/Information Assurance to address program and/or security findings. Acts as a mentor to less-experienced team members. Demonstrates best practices, processes and tools, as related to development projects. Prepares required documentation, including block diagrams, logic flow charts and software program documentation. Minimum Qualifications

US Citizen and fluent English speaker Current, active DoD Secret security clearance Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in SharePoint and/or similar data management solution development and administration (additional 4 years of work experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree) Solid working knowledge of standard computer software (Microsoft Office business suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project). Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate Must be detail oriented, as well as able to work well with clients. Experience with Java, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, or other programming languages in order to design and develop prototypes from the ground up. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must work efficiently within multiple teams. Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, and work in a closed environment with others. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology. Strong problem solving, logic, and analytic skills. Applies knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes and tools to support a client, project or entity. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Experience in information system design, including application programming on large-scale case management systems and the development of software to satisfy design objectives. Compensation Ranges

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role.
