IT Services Team Member

You will be an IT Services team member, responsible for providing technical support to a military organization. Our team is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure, and we're looking for a skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team. As an IT Services team member, you will be responsible for: Deploying and maintaining system hardware, operating systems, and software installations Documenting all aspects of IT services provided, including system configurations, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities Adhering to established policies, procedures, and guidelines set out by the Government, including security protocols and vulnerability assessments Supporting the IT infrastructure and systems used by military forces, including audio, video, printing, and broadcast assets Provisioning, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various software applications and hardware equipment, including servers, workstations, printers, and audio-visual equipment Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless IT services and support Why Join Us We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team. This position supports our Special Operations Forces - Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start. Basic Qualifications A working knowledge of workstations and servers within various DOD network enclaves. A working knowledge of operating systems. A working knowledge of basic computer system troubleshooting. A working knowledge of Security Resource Guides or DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) Must have the temperament and interpersonal skills suitable to be embedded into a military organization. Ability to take general directions and follow through to task completion. Desired Skills A working knowledge of Windows Servers A solid understanding of client workstations operating systems. A basic understanding of Group Policy design and configuration. Strong communication and documentation skills Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Able to document steps and actions on IT Support Tickets. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
