Semiconductor QA Engineer Job Num: 58069 h5Job DescriptionJob Title: Semiconductor QA EngineerOffice : San Jose CA Base : $110-135K up to negotiable OverviewWe are seeking a qualified Semiconductor QA Engineer to lead and coordinate quality assurance activities for our integrated circuit (IC) products. This role plays a vital part in maintaining and continuously improving product quality in accordance with internal protocols and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and driven by a commitment to customer satisfaction and manufacturing excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer & Quality Issue HandlingManage RMAs (Return Material Authorizations), conduct detailed Failure Analysis (FA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and develop Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).Respond promptly to customer quality requests and issues with professional documentation and resolution strategies.Quality Problem Solving & ReportingLead the preparation and execution of 8D reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing quality-related data.Utilize established quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, and fishbone diagrams to identify, analyze, and resolve root causes of quality problems.Supplier Quality ManagementMonitor and evaluate supplier performance, address manufacturing quality issues, and track resolution effectiveness.Log, track, and follow up on supplier quality complaints and ensure robust CAPA implementation.Product Qualification & Standards ComplianceOversee new product qualification processes based on JEDEC and AEC-Q100 (automotive) standards.Ensure all new products meet industry and customer quality requirements prior to market release.Required QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor quality assurance or a related field.Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and failure analysis at the chip level.Familiarity with system-level application testing on bench setups is a plus.Proficient in using MS Office tools for documentation and analysis.Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and experience in leading RCA/CAPA activities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interdepartmental and customer collaboration.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).To apply please email resume to htakami@pasona.comJob DetailsCity: San Jose State: CA Job Type: Permanent Job Salary High: Salary Low: 100000.00 Languages: English Hours of Operation: Benefits: Health Ins;Dental Ins;Vision Ins Contact InformationJob Owner: Hazuki Takami Job Owner Email : htakami@pasona.com
