The Legal Operations Project Manager is a key driver of efficiency and effectiveness within the Legal & Compliance Department, planning, executing, and providing continual support on various projects aimed at optimizing legal operations and technology. This includes overseeing the Legal & Compliance departments use of Elancos contract lifecycle management system as well as other ongoing and new initiatives. This role combines expertise in technology with strong project management skills to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and ongoing management of systems and process improvements. With a strategic mindset, this role will enhance the Legal Operations function and accelerate productivity in Elancos Legal & Compliance Department. Your Responsibilities: Lead, execute, maintain, and report on key legal operations projects, such as: Contract Lifecycle Management System Optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders on adoption and enhancement of Elancos CLM system; serve as a resource for system assessments, upgrades, integrations, migrations, and troubleshooting; develop and implement training materials and performance metrics to maximize system utilization. Other Legal Operations Projects: Manage projects related to records retention, document management, and streamlining subscriptions and resources to create efficiencies. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, propose, and implement solutions leveraging technology (including AI) and best practices. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely and within-scope completion. Create and share regular reports on metrics for Legal Operations and the broader Legal & Compliance department. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, drive adoption, troubleshoot pain points, and ensure project success.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 5 years experience in legal operations or project management Understanding of contracting workflows and processes Experience in project and program management Proficiency with system administration, troubleshooting, analytics, and reporting Strategic thinking, independence, and growth mindset in a fast-paced environment Experience with legal operations technologies or quick learner Proven change management success with lasting impact Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental influence Ability to work independently in an innovative, fast-paced setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with Malbek and iManage Experience in an in-house legal operations team Knowledge of the animal health industry
