Position Purpose
At Rogers-O'Brien our MEP Managers ensure the seamless integration and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects. They play a crucial role in managing all MEP-related aspects of a project to ensure these systems are installed on time, within budget, and meet quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities Design Assistance, planning and quality control Commissioning Management Reviewing and expediting submittals/approvals to ensure timely project completion Supports PM and Superintendent to plan, organize and supervise the work of the MEP trades Skills & Qualifications
Degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, technology education or building construction/MEP, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction/MEP coordination General understanding on building codes, mechanical codes, electrical codes and plumbing codes as it relates to construction related projects Experience in mechanical and electrical construction/MEP areas Must have experience in leading project coordination, design assistance and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems in following markets: healthcare, telecommunications, data centers or other mission critical projects Strong leadership and relationship skills required Have proven track record as a MEP Manager for related projects with MEP scopes RO Perks
