Our founders are experienced telecommunications engineers with over 200 years of combined expertise in designing, optimizing, and performance engineering for major wireless carriers worldwide. They identified the need for low power, cost-efficient sensors for data collection, alerts, and predictive actions. We integrate these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to help clients reduce recurring costs of IoT networks.
We specialize in designing, deploying, optimizing, and supporting these networks. Whether off-the-shelf or custom solutions are required, we create tailored solutions and deploy data on the most suitable cloud platforms, including client-owned options.
Job Description
This role involves ensuring data protection, logging, and monitoring for the security of our Big Data and Enterprise Data Warehouse platforms. The candidate will use tools to classify data at the column level based on confidentiality. Responsibilities include developing and deploying advanced data science algorithms to detect and alert on data anomalies. Data will be encrypted, tokenized, and masked according to confidentiality levels.
Required qualifications include: B.S. or equivalent work experience 6+ years in related fields Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Effective communication and stakeholder management skills Problem-solving abilities for developing quick and effective solutions Programming skills in KSH and JAVA Experience with security tools and protocols such as SHA 256, MD5, SSH, SSL, TLS Proficiency with Teradata tools (BTEQ, MLoad, FastExport, etc.), Hadoop ecosystem (HIVE, HBASE, SPARK, KAFKA, etc.), Informatica suite, BI tools (Tableau, Cognos, Qlik), and AWS cloud security Demonstrated ability to work independently and in teams Deep understanding of the wireless industry and data management activities Expertise in Hadoop and cloud security, including logging, monitoring, tokenization/encryption, and access controls.
