Senior Oracle Database Administrator Location :- St . Louis , Missouri Employment Type :- W2 Note :- Only US Citizen and GC are allowed . Qualifications and Skills 10 + Years of experience Seeking an experienced DBA with extensive knowledge of PL/SQL programming and database architecture. The ability to read, analyze, and enhance PL/SQL scripts delivered to our team by the development team. Able to utilize all Oracle DB tools and functionality to create/modify PL/SQL scripts for performance on large DBs and datasets. Thrives on problem-solving and is able to apply those skills to think outside the box to engineer new solutions as well as improve existing solutions. Good Experience with Oracle RMAN and Golden Gate. A good communicator to interface with APO production DB support teams. The ability to write detailed documentation along with MOPs for all projects assigned to them. Strong knowledge of database architecture and its implementation Strong understanding of best practices in maintaining medium to large-scale Oracle database systems Strong knowledge of PL/SQL programming language Strong understanding of Change Management procedures Strong knowledge of Instance, database and query tuning to improve the performance of the database/application Strong understanding of SAN technologies related to SQL server disk layouts Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux/Solaris operating systems and shell scripting Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks and prioritize effectively. Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.) Ability to work with others to resolve problems, handle requests or situations Ability to effectively consult with department managers and leaders.ms to improve database design and procedures on PL/SQL best practices etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
