Job Description Description SAIC is seeking a candidate to perform duties as an Electronics Technician in support of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) program. We are looking for an individual that likes to travel as this role requires 50% or more of travel. We have several CONUS locations and a few OCONUS locations in the Middle East, Europe, and the Pacific Theater.After an initial training period in our Hanahan facility, we will deploy you to a CONUS location with an experienced FSR to get familiar with the duties.Responsibilities Include:Installing, maintaining, and upgrading all Command, Control, Communications, Computers (C4) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems and equipment on all tactical vehicles in the area assignedMay perform alternate equipment custodian duties as well as receiving Mission Support Equipment (MSE) shipments, conducting inventory, operational checks as well as tagging, packaging, storing and onward shipment of MSEMay be tasked to utilize the USAF Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) to record all repair and fault analysisQualifications Required Education:High School diploma or GEDFormal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program. Formal electronics training, to include Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing ConnectorsExperience:Two (2) years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair, maintenance, and checkoutRequired Clearance:Must be US Citizen with the ability to obtain a SECRET ClearanceOverview SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.SAIC® is a premier Fortune 500® mission integrator focused on advancing the power of technology and innovation to serve and protect our world.
