This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, which the US Government mandates that applicants be US Citizens. A final U.S. Secret clearance post-start is required. Client seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Aircraft Integration Engineer to join our team in Berkeley, MO. This role is essential for ensuring the seamless integration of aircraft systems and components, contributing to aircraft performance, safety, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong aerospace engineering background, with expertise in systems integration, and demonstrate leadership skills to guide a team of engineers in delivering innovative solutions. Position Responsibilities

Lead integration of aircraft systems, including avionics, propulsion, and structural components, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams to develop integration strategies and resolve technical issues. Conduct system analysis and simulations to validate performance and detect issues early. Oversee test plan development and execution, ensuring thorough verification of systems. Mentor junior engineers, fostering continuous improvement and technical excellence. Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders, including management and regulators. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in aircraft systems integration. This role is expected to be 100% onsite at the specified location. Requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science, or aeronautics from an accredited institution. Minimum of 7 years in aircraft systems integration or related engineering roles. Proven leadership in engineering teams and project management. Strong knowledge of aircraft systems including avionics, flight control, and propulsion. Proficiency with analysis tools like MATLAB, Simulink, etc. Excellent problem-solving and team collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelors in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering; Masters preferred. Over 10 years of experience in aircraft integration, especially in commercial or military sectors. Experience with MBSE methodologies. Knowledge of regulatory and certification processes (FAA, EASA). Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement. Experience with project management tools and practices.
