Java Developer
IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide. Our client is looking for a Java Developer to assist in Project Development and Maintenance programs. In addition to full-stack development, this position will also work with UI/UX team members in building user interfaces and responsive applications. Tasks: Work with the project manager, application owner, and resource manager Work on an agile development team to organize work Develop, test, and deploy code Perform a variety of complicated tasks May report directly to a project lead or manager Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Excellent communication and teamwork skills Self-directed, committed Quick learner Note: Local candidates within 2 hours of Lansing ONLY. Relocation not allowed. Position will be hybrid, in office 2 days a week (Tue/Wed) upon start and there is NO REMOTE ONLY option. A valid MI Driver's License / ID will be required for submittal of application. Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid role -- 2 days/week (Tues/Wed) on-site) Contract: 1 year
