Provider Contracts Manager
to join our team. This is an on-site role based in Oregon, requiring travel along the I-5 corridor. Overall Purpose:
The Provider Contracts Manager is responsible for developing, negotiating, and managing contractual, legal, and financial arrangements with healthcare providers to ensure access to high-quality, cost-effective services for our patients. Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree preferred or in process, or equivalent experience. Minimum of five years of managed care contracting experience, including network expansion, hospital and physician contracting, and ancillary services. Knowledge of CMS reimbursement methodologies and Medicare Advantage is highly preferred. Experience in national contracting negotiation and network operations is desirable. Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in computer software such as Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Willingness and ability to travel locally and overnight as needed. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with network contracting activities, including physician, hospital, and ancillary contracts. Support network development, payer negotiations, and implementations. Participate in network expansion projects and organizational growth opportunities. Coordinate and produce monthly network contracting reports. Manage confidential information and ensure compliance with regulations. Travel as required to engage with providers and develop networks. Additional Details:
