THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

Bachelor`s degree in Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field (AICP certification preferred or required at the Senior level). Experience in local government, land development review, long-range planning, or transportation planning. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with elected officials, developers, staff, and the public. Familiarity with GIS tools, zoning ordinances, development codes, and technical reports. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate across departments, and communicate with stakeholders. Supervisor experience and grant management experience are a plus at higher levels.
