Oracle Health Lifecycle Management Engineer
Oracle's Health Lifecycle Management team is building and operating life cycle management services that operate at high scale in a broadly distributed on premise and multi-tenant cloud environment. Our internal customers run their businesses on premise and OCI cloud, and our mission is to provide them with lifecycle management to perform certificate management, configuration management and granular access to customer secrets stored on cloud secret vaults. We're looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in distributed systems and highly available services. If this is you, at Oracle you can design and build innovative new systems from the ground up. These are exciting times in our space - we are growing fast, still at an early stage, and working on ambitious new initiatives. An engineer at any level can have significant technical and business impact. Oracle Health Lifecycle Management is a suite of services that support on premise and cloud (OCI) to perform configuration, security access and management of Oracle Health servers. About You: You work backward, starting from the user. You care about creating usable, useful software that solves real problems and brings delight to users. You have solid communication skills. You can clearly explain complex technical concepts and communicate with stakeholders such as designers, engineers, and product managers. You are comfortable with ambiguity. You have a strong sense of ownership and can drive development of new projects and features to completion. You are comfortable working at all levels of the stack. Minimum Qualifications: BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience shipping services software. Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals. Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures. Proficient in Java, Python, or similar object-oriented languages for building robust backend systems. Strong software engineering fundamentals, including expertise in data structures, algorithms, RESTful services, and microservices architecture. Hands-on experience with cloud-native development on major cloud platforms (OCI, Azure, GCP, AWS) is essential. Familiarity with cloud engineering infrastructure and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker). Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills. Preferred Qualifications: MS in Computer Science. Experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems. Strong grasp of Unix-like operating systems. Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure a strong plus. Why Oracle Health? Be part of a groundbreaking initiative to modernize and automate patient-centric healthcare globally. Work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and distributed systems, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in healthcare. Enjoy a collaborative and dynamic team environment that values innovation and creativity. Competitive compensation and benefits package, including professional development opportunities. Make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and healthcare providers worldwide.
