The Role Lithko Contracting is looking for a
Traveling Superintendent
to join our Travel Team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning the execution phase of large-scale projects. You will collaborate closely with the operational team to create an overall project plan.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a project plan for your phase of work.
Understand project information and identify obstacles and opportunities for your phase of work.
Prepare your team to execute using defined planning processes.
Ensure your team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
Utilize and track time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign in & sign out sheets.
Ensure project execution goals are met for your portion of work.
Communicate project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.
Requirements And Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
A minimum of five years of progressive experience in project execution with a large-scale self-performing general contractor or concrete contracting firm.
Demonstrated experience in self-performing concrete work is required.
Experience managing projects valued at over $1 million, with a portfolio of diverse project types, especially in commercial and industrial sectors.
In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices.
Proven leadership skills to lead teams and drive successful project outcomes.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering is highly preferred.
Willingness to travel nationwide and be present on-site according to a rotating schedule, with the ability to accommodate extended stays as necessary.
