Job Description Rhode Island Medical Imaging is seeking a CT Technologist responsible for performing high-quality scans, ensuring safety and proper patient care, maintaining equipment, and collaborating effectively with staff and physicians. The role involves patient assistance, quality control, and routine clerical duties. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Perform CT procedures as assigned, ensuring quality and safety standards. Maintain equipment and perform quality control procedures. Assist patients and provide clear instructions. Ensure radiation safety using protective measures. Coordinate with staff for efficient patient flow. Review images for diagnostic quality. Document procedures and maintain accurate records. Handle patient care with professionalism and confidentiality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas. Assist with cross-training and additional duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma plus 2 years of radiologic technology training. ARRT registered and certified in CT. State licensure in Rhode Island. Additional certifications in contrast media, anatomy, and safety. Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients. Mobility to move and position patients and equipment.
