Title: Traveling Superintendent, Construction Location: USA Hire Type: Direct Hire Salary: $150-160K Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Sterling Engineering is looking for a Traveling Construction Superintendent to join our client’s team. This opportunity offers consistent travel, high-impact project leadership, and the chance to oversee large-scale construction projects across the U.S. Job Duties:

Attend post-award review meetings to receive project information and aid in preconstruction planning Partner with the Project Manager to develop construction schedules, manpower needs, and equipment requirements Lead all on-site construction activity to ensure projects are completed on time, to spec, and within budget Support the Project Manager/Engineer with material procurement, submittals, and approvals Coordinate subcontractor schedules and ensure smooth integration with project timelines Communicate construction schedule changes to all supervisors and subcontractors Assist with the preparation of job progress and cost reports Review and approve requisitions, field purchase orders, invoices, and critical documentation Maintain open communication with owners, architects, and owner representatives Hold site meetings with the Project Manager and Regional Manager; provide regular job updates Maintain a detailed daily log of significant project events, conditions, and communications Enforce adherence to the company's safety program across all job phases Make informed decisions under tight deadlines Manage tools, people, equipment, and multiple activities simultaneously Demonstrate leadership, address conflict, and guide project teams effectively Ensure quality by improving project processes and incorporating customer feedback Uphold the company’s values and integrity while exceeding customer expectations Qualifications:

5–25+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent Previous experience with tilt-up construction strongly preferred Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling software Valid driver’s license Physically able to meet job demands (walking/standing long hours, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 lbs, etc.) Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
