This role offers consistent 10-hour shifts, a competitive weekly pay package, and the chance to work in a high-quality surgical team environment.Job Details Contract Length: 13 weeks Weekly Pay: Up to $2,250 (depending on experience) Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts Shift Times: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Block Scheduling: Not availableJob Description Assist surgeons and RNs during a variety of surgical procedures Prepare and maintain sterile operating fields Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and set up Support procedures in specialties such as general surgery, orthopedics, OBGYN, urology, and ENT Collaborate with the OR team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and efficient surgical workflow Comply with hospital safety and infection control protocols Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital charting policiesEducation and Certification Requirements Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - required Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association - requiredPreferred Qualifications At least 1 year of recent experience in an acute care or surgical setting Previous travel or contract assignment experience is a plus Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures and environmentsWhy Lancaster, PA?Lancaster is a unique blend of historic charm and modern living, offering a great quality of life for healthcare professionals on assignment.
