About the Role:
Mollie Stone's Markets , a gourmet, independent grocery store chain, seeks a Part Time Driver/Warehouse Clerk for our Produce Warehouse (located in San Francisco's Produce Terminal). The right candidate will be committed to our mission, vision and values, be flexible working on various tasks and available to work the graveyard shift from 3 days a week, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays 12 am to 8:30 am.
This is a part-time, hourly/non exempt position.
*LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY*
Essential Functions: Performs various operations, including unloading, picking, packing, counting, and checking items to maintain inventory within our Produce Distribution Center (PDC) warehouse. Takes direction to maintain optimum quality and flow of receiving. Operates various merchandise handling equipment according to safety policies and procedures. Participates and maintains a safe and healthy workplace environment in the warehouse. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years Warehouse clerk experience or related experience. Possess a valid CA Drivers License (no special class required) Preferred qualifications:
Specialized warehouse training and/or Certification Ability to drive a bobtail truck Ability to serve as a back-up driver for South San Francisco pick-ups and city store distribution/deliveries as needed. Clean driving experience. Forklift certification Competencies:
Reliable and acts with integrity. Knowledge of Produce merchandise Demonstrated attention to detail. Demonstrated discipline and professionalism. Physical requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Able to wok in wet and cold conditions Standing: Up to 8 hours per day Walking: Up to 8 hours per day Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day Compensation:
Pay scale: $21-23/hour depending on industry experience.
