SharePoint Developer
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training. Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain SharePoint Site(s), pages, lists, and libraries. Must be proficient with Office 365 family of products to include Microsoft Power Apps. Experienced in using out of the-box functionality to develop workflows, and custom, interactive designs (e.g., Dashboards). Use proper access controls for operational security management by managing user accounts and establishing and/or maintaining end user access policies and permissions. Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues or malfunctions and communicate with the IT department for any further support as needed. Provide SharePoint support and initial end-user training for users. Experience with requirements documentation tools, SharePoint, Atlassian Jira/Confluence. Perform data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss. Navy experience preferred, but not required. Provide on-site support at USFF headquarters in Norfolk VA Exercise attention to detail, display organizational skills and interact with senior level personnel. Produce high quality staff work common to large Navy staffs. Display a can do attitude as some efforts are long term and some are efforts need to be done immediately. Demonstrate and utilize speaking skills to interact with all levels of Naval personnel as LVC is a top priority for USFF and the Navy and the ability to speak politely and intelligently in front of multiple audiences is pivotal. Bachelors degree Ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance Travel 2-4 times a year supporting large training conferences/meetings. At least three (3) years of experience in SharePoint front end and back end use and administration, MS SQL & Microsoft Power Apps Able to communicate effectively (Written/verbal) & possess strong interpersonal skills. AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $80,100.00/Yr. - USD $133,700.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
