QA Engineer Automated 3

CTG is seeking to fill a QA Engineer Automated 3 opening for our client in Austin, TX. Location: Austin, TX (hybrid remote) Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Tues) required to be onsite at the location. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius). Due to government related projects, all eligible candidates must be US Citizens. This is strictly required so that security clearances can be obtained in the future. Pay: Up to $60/hr Duties

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites using UFT or similar automation tools Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries for validating data and backend processes Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to review requirements and ensure traceability through test plans and test scripts Design and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices Create and execute test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and report defects Participate in Agile ceremonies and support project sprint planning and retrospectives Use Jira to manage test activities and track work assignments Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process Support CI/CD efforts by integrating automated testing in the pipeline Utilize scripting languages (JavaScript, VBScript, Python) to enhance testing frameworks and automate complex scenarios Skills

Proficiency in JavaScript, VBScript, and Python for scripting and automation Expertise in developing test suites using UFT or similar test automation tools Strong skills in SQL and PL/SQL for database validations Understanding of CI/CD processes and how automated testing fits within deployment pipelines Familiarity with Jira for tracking project and sprint tasks Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams Experience

8 years of strong verbal and written communication experience across user and peer levels 8 years of test suite development using UFT or comparable tools 8 years of experience writing database queries using SQL and PL/SQL 6 years of experience developing Requirements Traceability Matrices, test scripts, and coordinating UAT 6 years of familiarity with IT SDLC processes 4 years of experience using Jira for project and sprint tracking in an Agile environment 1 year of experience with Agile project management methodologies Education
