Senior Oracle Utilities Consultant at Oracle in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Utilities Consultant to join our dynamic consulting team. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of Oracle Utilities solutions-including Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), Meter Data Management (MDM), Mobile Workforce Management (MWM), Work and Asset Management (WAM), and Market Transaction Management (MTM) -to meet our utility clients’ complex business and technology needs. This is a client-facing role that requires exceptional consulting skills, technical and functional expertise, and the ability to deliver high-impact results in fast-paced environments. You’ll work directly with clients, Oracle teams, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless delivery of integrated solutions. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities + Analyze business requirements and deliver functional and technical Oracle Utilities solutions. + Implement and configure Oracle Utilities applications including CC&B, MDM, MWM, WAM, and MTM . + Serve as a trusted advisor to utility clients, guiding strategy, design, and implementation decisions. + Lead or contribute to workshops, requirement gathering, and business process analysis (As-Is/To-Be). + Create solution documentation, effort estimates, and fit/gap analyses. + Collaborate with Oracle and third-party teams for successful project execution. + Support business development initiatives including RFP responses, scope definition, and client presentations. + Participate in testing phases (smoke testing, SIT, UAT) and provide functional support. + Ensure project delivery aligns with quality, budget, and timeline goals. + Telecommuting is permitted when not onsite. Required Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. + 7+ years of progressive, post-degree experience in Oracle Utilities consulting or a related role. + Strong experience in the utility industry (electric, gas, or water), either as a consultant or full-time employee. + Deep expertise in at least three of the following Oracle Utilities products: CC&B, MDM, MWM, WAM, MTM . + Proven consulting skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and expectations. + Strong understanding of the SDLC, configuration mapping, and functional design. + Experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), including algorithms, scripts, zones, portals, and business objects. + Proficiency in SQL and Oracle data models. + Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
