Who we want:

We are seeking a highly motivated Real Estate Development Manager to join our growing Development & Acquisitions team. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of relevant experience in real estate development, project coordination, or a related field, and is eager to grow within a best-in-class organization. This individual has: Knowledge of real estate development processes: Familiarity with zoning regulations, design regulations, and other relevant legal and regulatory requirements Strong project management skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, develop and manage project plans, and track progress against timelines and budgets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal colleagues, engineers, and government staff and officials Financial acumen: Understanding of budgeting, and cost control. Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify problems, resolve conflicts, and manage risks Team skills: Ability to work well with others in internal and external teams. What you'll do:

As Real Estate Development Manager, you will play a vital role in advancing Hunt Midwest's development projects. Working closely with senior members of the Development & Acquisitions team, you will manage all stages of the property acquisition and development life cycle and ensure that no detail is overlooked. This position is designed with growth in mind. Over time, you'll have the opportunity to take on more strategic assignments, gaining exposure to the broader decision-making process and positioning yourself for long-term advancement within the organization.

Your essential duties:

Support the Hunt Midwest team with organizational and technical information for a wide variety of real estate acquisition and development projects. Assist with the identification and documentation of potential properties for acquisition. Assist team members with land purchase agreements and other legal documents. Compile property due diligence information and prepare reports. Participate in land planning and design activities to determine the best use for properties. Assist with entitlements and coordinate relationships with land planners, architects, engineers, government officials, city staff, and other community members. Work with internal staff, external engineers, and contractors to design and budget development costs. Monitor project timelines, milestones, and key deliverables for projects. Organize and maintain digital files, records, and correspondence across multiple projects and initiatives. Participate in team meetings and contribute to internal process improvements where appropriate. Demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn from experienced team members. Take initiative in building knowledge of the real estate development process to support long-term growth within the team. Tools for success:

3-5 years of experience in real estate development, project coordination, planning, or a related field Bachelor's degree in real estate, urban planning, engineering, construction management, or related discipline Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook Familiarity with tools like Bluebeam, CAD, or project management software is a plus Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective internal collaboration A process-oriented mindset and commitment to follow-through Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to grow into broader responsibilities Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Why Hunt Midwest:
