Rancher Government Solutions (RGS) is specifically designed to address the unique security and operational needs of the U.S. Government and military as it relates to application modernization, containers, and Kubernetes.

Rancher is a complete open-source software stack for teams adopting containers. It addresses the operations and security challenges of managing multiple Kubernetes clusters at scale, while providing DevOps teams with integrated tools for running containerized workloads.

RGS supports all Rancher products with U.S. based American citizen with the highest security clearances who are currently supporting programs across the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and civilian agencies.

POSITION SUMMARY

We're looking for dynamic individuals to join our RGS National Security team to help guide our clients through their technical journey, from initial concept to final delivery and ongoing success. You'll be the technical and strategic advisor for our most important clients, ensuring the solutions we design are the solutions we deliver, ultimately driving significant business value and client satisfaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with the sales team during the discovery phase to understand complex customer business challenges and technical requirements. Architect and design comprehensive solutions, demonstrating how our products and services meet the client's needs. Lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements. Develop and write the technical components of proposal Own client projects, aligning them with strategic goals. Develop and manage program plans Act as primary liaison between client and internal teams, facilitating executive communication. Identify opportunities for account growth. Serve as the escalation point for any technical or delivery challenges, providing expert guidance to resolve issues. Ensure a high-quality customer experience and successful user adoption, confirming that the solution delivers the intended business outcomes. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

10+ years of experience in the technology sector, with a proven track record in a combination of pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, and/or program/project management roles. Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, complex enterprise projects from conception to completion.

Technical Acumen:

Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and containerization technologies, especially Kubernetes. Understanding of cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, etc and SaaS platforms. Ability to architect sophisticated solutions that solve real-world business problems.

Leadership & Communication Skills:

Exceptional client-facing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical executive audiences. Strong leadership and influencing skills, capable of guiding both clients and internal cross-functional teams toward a common goal. Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking.

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Professional certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), or relevant technical certifications are highly desirable. U.S. Citizenship and U.S. Government Security Clearance required
