DeNOVO Solutions is seeking a System Administrator Level 2 to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. This role is responsible for managing IT system infrastructure and supporting day-to-day operations across client, server, storage, network, and mobile environments. The System Administrator will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, perform problem identification and resolution, and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of IT systems. Responsibilities include configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems, installing and maintaining software, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements to improve system functionality.
Responsibilities: Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. Deliver Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, including problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution. Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems. Assist users in accessing and using IT systems. Monitor and resolve issues across client, server, storage, network, and mobile devices. Support the escalation and communication of system status to agency management and internal customers. Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform system capacity analysis and planning. Implement and sustain compliance with applicable system security controls through configuration management. Perform periodic vulnerability scans of systems. Conduct account management tasks, including establishing, modifying, disabling, and removing user accounts. Implement IAVA security patches and ensure patch status is recorded in appropriate systems of record. Troubleshoot IT systems and provide detailed analysis and feedback for escalated tickets. Support dispatch system and hardware issue resolution. Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems; install/load software; maintain system integrity and configure network components; implement enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Coordinate with the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Information System Owner (ISO) on system changes in accordance with Change and Configuration Management processes. Support ISO activities by completing required POA&M milestones and updating the ISSO on completion status for tracking within the security authorization system of record. Ensure IT assets remain compliant with Identity & Access Control Management (ICAM) policy. Required Education and Experience:
Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) additional years of System Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. 3 years Linux system administration experience. Knowledge of physical and virtual servers. Experience researching and creating solutions to close IAVA's. Ansible experience. Experience in building and maintaining VMware environments. Desired Experience:

$100,000 - $145,000
(Commensurate with experience) Note: The above salary range is a guideline and represents a broad spectrum of potential compensation. We recognize that a candidate's unique experience and qualifications may justify compensation beyond this range.
