About the Role:
The
Quality Assurance Lab Inspector I
plays a critical role in ensuring that all products and materials meet established quality standards before they proceed through the production process or reach the customer. This position involves conducting detailed inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods to identify any deviations from quality specifications. The inspector will document findings accurately and communicate any quality issues to the relevant departments to facilitate timely corrective actions. By maintaining rigorous quality control procedures, the role helps to uphold the company's commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality products. Ultimately, this position supports continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with regulatory requirements within the LSCS North Carolina facility.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of quality assurance principles and inspection techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications. Strong attention to detail and observational skills. Effective communication skills to document and report inspection results. Responsibilities:
Perform routine and non-routine inspections of materials and in process products using established quality standards and testing methods. Record and report inspection results clearly and accurately, maintaining detailed documentation for quality assurance records. Identify and segregate non-conforming products and communicate findings to supervisors and quality control teams for resolution. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to understand quality requirements and support corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain cleanliness and organization within the laboratory and inspection areas.
