ROLE SUMMARY: The SAP Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) processes related to SAP access and security. This role ensures that SAP access provisioning aligns with internal policies, external regulations, and operational efficiency goals. The manager will lead the SAP Security team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and serve as a subject matter expert on SAP GRC tools and workflows. JOB RESPONSIBILITES: Manage and maintain SAP access control processes using GRC Access Request Management (ARM) workflows.

Oversee the end-to-end SAP access request lifecycle, including role assignment, approvals, and compliance checks.

Serve as the primary liaison for SAP security audits and SOX compliance, ensuring timely remediation of deficiencies (e.g., ACCESS_02 unauthorized provisioning)

Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of SAP access request automation and policy enforcement

Collaborate with line managers, role owners, and risk owners to ensure intentional and compliant access decisions

Maintain and update SAP role definitions, ensuring sensitive roles are appropriately assigned and reviewed

Provide training and guidance to approvers and end users on SAP access policies and tools

Monitor license allocations and coordinate cleanup of unused or leaver accounts

Support escalations and troubleshooting related to SAP access issues, including integration with tools like JIRA and SNOW

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

5+ years of experience in SAP security administration, including GRC Access Control.

Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., AB1, ARP, AWP) and system landscapes.

Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOX and internal audit protocols.

Proficiency in tools such as SAP GRC, JIRA, and SNOW.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

SAP GRC certification.

Experience leading cross-functional training and change management initiatives.

Familiarity with automation and workflow optimization in SAP environments.
