We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teen Program Coordinator to join our team. This role involves working closely with teens, organizing activities, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment at the Teen Center.
DUTIES: The coordinator will perform variety of duties related to working with teens. Duties may include but are not limited to the following: Attend and conduct meetings and training programs. Communicate with Pullman Parks and Recreation Department staff, parents, and participants. Help with organization and leadership of program activities. Supervise, lead and discipline teens, considering the safety and well being of program participants. Preserve and care for the Teen Center equipment and supplies, which includes cleaning and maintenance of the Teen Center. Familiarity with Teen Center rules. Understand department policies and procedures. Complete paperwork, maintain hour verification cards and submit other reports requested by the Recreation Supervisor. Report accidents using approved forms.
QUALIFICATIONS : Must successfully pass a background check. Experience working with and/or supervising youth and teens preferred. First Aid and CPR certified preferred. HOURS: Monday-Friday 2:30-5:30pm The Teen Center is open Sept 8th - June12th (with exceptions to holidays and WSU/PSD breaks) This is a part time position based on the Pullman School District school calendar. This position works under the supervision of DJ Mackie, Recreation Supervisor. LOCATION: The Teen Center is located at the Pullman Recreation Center. 190 SE Crestview Street, Building B in Pullman.
