The Opportunity:
Packaging Tech 1 is responsible for daily operations across our Packaging, Powder, and Blister departments, ensuring products meet quality standards and production goals. You'll help keep the equipment running safely, maintain accurate records, and work closely with leads and supervisors to keep everything on track.
What You'll Do: Production in Packaging, Powder and Blister departments. Ensure that daily goals are met according to production schedule. Inspect equipment and work area for safety prior to production. Ensure quality of product is acceptable. Work with supervisor and/or lead to monitor customer orders and company supplies in packaging, powder, blister, and packaging components. Read entire Batch Record. Post correct amount of finished goods after completion of Batch Record and sign off where applicable in Batch Record. Ensure department is clean and organized. Work with Maintenance to ensure machines are maintained. All other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Familiar with the metric system. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must be able to stand for 10 hours and able to lift 50 lbs. Lifting raw material containers that fall within OSHA limitations is necessary. Other activities include material handling using forklifts, electric and manual pallet jacks. Interface as either a checker or weigher to satisfy double checks and balances required and must be able to set up digital scales and wear a dust respirator when needed. Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/Certificate; or 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The Perks:

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $16.00. - $17.00 The
compensation offered may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and/or education.
