Minimum Requirements Two and half years (2.5)
of full-time equivalent medical clerical experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems performing a wide variety of difficult and responsible duties such as, performing quality assurance of medical records, ensuring all release of information activities are compliant with established regulations, correspond to legal requests and ensuring completion of medical chart functions, maintaining indexing and filing systems, retrieving and purging of information in EHR systems.
Experience must be within the last five (5) years.
Desired Qualifications Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification and medical terminology comprehension is highly desirable.
Lead/supervisory experience is preferred.
