Graduate Research Assistant Position

We are hiring a highly motivated part-time graduate research assistant to support research and coordinate a community coalition aimed at reducing maternal mortality. This position will run from September 2025 to May 2026, with a maximum of 20 hours/week. The role offers hybrid flexibility and will report directly to the project's Principal Investigator. Job Duties Conduct literature reviews Support project coordination and logistics Assist with the implementation of community-based interventions Contribute to drafting reports, research abstracts and manuscripts Requirements and Qualifications Current graduate student with at least one-year course work toward a MPH or related degree Strong interest or experience in program coordination Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Experience with SAS and/or R is a plus Ability to learn quickly and independently Passion in maternal health, community engagement, and public health is highly desirable To be considered for this position, you should submit the following materials: Cover letter Resume/CV Names of at least two references Background Checks/Clearances Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
