This is a casual, part-time position available exclusively to current Nebraska Methodist College (NMC) students who qualify for the Federal Work Study program. Work hours will vary based on business needs, and shifts may change from week to week. Location: Nebraska Methodist College Address: 720 N. 87th St., Omaha, NE Position Overview: Student Assistants provide operational and clerical support on and/or off campus in various departments. Tasks may include customer service, clerical work, inventory management, tutoring, and general assistance in campus operations. Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions: Provide customer service. Operate point of sale system. Reconcile cash register. Clean lab equipment. Organize records or materials for storage. Take inventory. Provide clerical assistance such as making copies, assembling mailings, and preparing packets. Tutor elementary age students in reading. Support library operations. Maintain confidentiality.
