CrowdStrike Sandbox Developer
CrowdStrike, Inc. is a global leader in cybersecurity, protecting the people, processes, and technologies that drive modern organizations. Our mission hasn't changed since 2011 we're here to stop breaches, and we've redefined modern security with the world's most advanced AI-native platform. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe, and their lives moving forward. We're always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation, and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community, and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you. About This Role
The CrowdStrike sandbox team is reimagining our public facing web site hybrid-analysis.com. This website is part of CrowdStrike's thought leadership in the cyber security industry. Everyday thousands of researchers, malware analysts, students, and concerned people put their trust in hybrid-analysis.com by submitting potentially harmful documents and programs for investigation. The existing website, built PHP, serves its purpose well; but we are ready to open up new and exciting workflows and features to stop breaches now! Our new stack is Vue.js, but if you've used frameworks like React or Angular you're the kind of person we're looking for and we'll help get you up to speed. We want to push the boundaries of what's possible on the web as a platform, while providing a rich, intuitive malware hunting user interface. In close collaboration with our community, you'll get to see the apps and visualizations you're building used every day to hunt for hackers, malicious content, and protect systems. What You'll Do
Our ideal candidates are sensitive to the needs of their users and love learning more about their tools every day. Get excited about new features in Chrome Devtools? Tested your work in screen readers? Ever lost half an hour getting an animation's bezier curve to be just the right kind of bouncy? Looking for a challenge that's out of the ordinary? Get in touch. Apply with your resume and tell us a bit about why you would like to work at CrowdStrike; and if you wish, include links to your portfolio or projects you've worked on. We will review your application promptly, and if we think you'll be a good fit, we'll schedule an initial phone call. If you think CrowdStrike might be the place for you, we'll ask you to submit some examples of previous work. We'll then invite you for technical interviews, during which we'll discuss building modern web apps, work processes, and professional development. We are looking for Mid-level Engineers; the title will be dependent on experience and interview performance. What You'll Need
A desire to collaborate closely with stakeholders, users, and testers to deliver quality software that solves problems. A deep understanding of Javascript and considerable experience building thick-client applications, preferable with Vue.js. Experience with frontend framework such as Bootstrap or Materialize. Experience with unit testing; Vue test utils/Jest/Vitest, component testing, end to end testing. e.g. Selenium/Playwright/WebdriverIO etc. Functional knowledge and interest in developing accessible interfaces. Strong HTML & CSS skills, with a passion for page design and UI user interaction, knowledge of approaches to scalable/modular CSS, & preprocessors such as SCSS & LESS. Familiarity with client-side build processes & tools - Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, etc. Comfortable with Git/version control workflows. Relentless passion for improving page load times. Experience creating or contributing to open source projects. Experience with graphics & visualization tools. Benefits of Working at CrowdStrike
