Right at Home Cleveland Southwest, In-Home Care & Assistance, is a non-skilled agency seeking to hire Home-Maker Companions to help with instrumental activities of daily living. We have immediate part-time and full-time positions available to applicants looking to gain experience, help others in their community, or simply make extra money. You can help seniors and veterans remain independent while staying in the comfort of their own homes. Students, seniors, and veterans are encouraged to apply. Here's why caregivers like working for us: Proprietary university for continuing education CPR and first aid training New pay rates for 2023 Paid training Student mentoring/internship Monday-Friday 2-4 and 6-8 hour shifts available Part-time 2-4 hour shifts available Flexible scheduling - set your own availability (perfect for students) Mileage reimbursement for client transportation and/or errands Travel time reimbursement for travel time between clients Time and a half for major holidays Pay increases available through our personal advancement program Bonuses for referrals Caregiver recognition & rewards program Service area includes 16 southwest suburbs in Cuyahoga County Responsibilities and duties: Performs home-maker companion activities that assist the client with instrumental activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to): Meal preparation and snacks according to instructions Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom Medication reminders Qualifications and skills: High school graduate or GED certificate preferred One year of experience as a home-maker companion caregiver in healthcare (in homes or communities) Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job Possess a valid driver's license and insured automobile Right at Home's mission is simple...to improve the quality of life for those we serve.
